Senior Officer, SEforALL

We are pleased to welcome Edwin Wuadom Warden, who joins Sustainable Energyfor All (SEforALL) on 18 May 2026 as Senior Officer, Minerals and Green ValueChains.

As part of the Green Industrialization team, Edwin will support SEforALL's work withgovernments on developing sustainable mineral value chains, strengtheninggovernance and unlocking investment across emerging economies, particularly inAfrica. He will contribute to initiatives including the Council for Critical MineralsDevelopment in the Global South, supporting country engagement, south-southcooperation, strategic partnerships and technical analysis to help guide decision-making on minerals-to-manufacturing linkages.

Edwin joins SEforALL with close to a decade of experience in extractives governanceand sustainable development. Prior to joining SEforALL, he worked at the ExtractiveIndustries Transparency Initiative (EITI), where he supported governance reformsacross resource-rich countries in Africa and Southeast Asia. Over the years, Edwinhas worked closely with national stakeholders and international partners to leveragedata, transparency and multi-stakeholder approaches to support investment,strengthen domestic resource mobilisation and advance domestic value creationalong mineral supply chains. He has also contributed to international discussions oncritical minerals, transition minerals partnerships and Africa's role in the global energytransition. Earlier in his career, he worked on peace and development projects inKenya and Ghana.

Edwin background is in Political Science and Development. He holds an MPhil inPeace and Conflict Studies from the University of Oslo (Norway), an MSc inDevelopment Management from the University of Agder (Norway), and a BA inPolitical Studies from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(Ghana).
