The partnership between SEforAll, UC Davis, and Swaniti Global was founded to strengthen south-south and international collaboration on critical mineral supply chain development. Our aim is to support countries to realize socio-economic growth, industrialization and climate goals, through a collaborative approach that bridges regional divides and promotes equitable benefits sharing from the global energy transition.
We strengthen the knowledge and information exchange framework between countries, particularly in Global South countries on mining and industrial policy design, technology access, value chain investment opportunities, local community engagement and socio-economic implications.
We inform decision-making on local critical minerals processing and value chain creation in the Global South through data-driven analyses highlighting key cooperation opportunities for countries within the Council on critical minerals supply chain development and value creation, including policy and investment decisions
We foster collaboration and partnership amongst countries and other stakeholders, including national and local governments, investment and trade facilitation agencies, the private sector and community groups, necessary to mobilize action on South-South cooperation opportunities
