Principal Specialist for Renewable Energy at Sustainable Energy for All.

Divyam is a renewable energy specialist with over 12 years of professional experience at the intergovernmental and national-level. He is presently working as Principal Specialist - Renewable Energy in the UN Energy Team of Sustainable Energy for All. He leads the Policy and Capacity Building Pillars of the Africa Renewable Energy Manufacturing Initiative, as well as on broader south-south cooperation activities, including on critical minerals. Prior to this, he has worked with the International Renewable Energy Agency, the MIT Energy Initiative and the Global Commission to End Energy Poverty, International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development and REN21. He is a mechanical engineer by training and has an MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures from Imperial College London.
